"Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh and anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God." Ether 12:4

Beautiful pictures, beautiful family and beautiful spirits. love the way you write and especially
“The E“Ss”ence of my Friend:
I cannot look at the blog without remembering your deep, and incredible, love and testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

So excited that you went fishing with Carl. Did you have a big pile of blankets? The guys take daddy out and put him in a huge pile of blankets and hand warmers and foot warmers so he will stay warm while he fishes from the air boat.

How special just to spend a little time with Isaac on the John Deere, Wow!! How wonderful it felt to have baby Addy's arms around my neck and her just sprawled out across me when I felt so rotten. Isaac's little body must just be a comfort balm to you. Addy always looked down my neck and said "OTAY? OTAY? and we would say sure baby everything is otay, now Addy is put out with the Dr who drew on me with magic marker (radiation tatoos) one dot is high and shows on my neck and to a 2 year old it means trouble to have magic marker on you. Hope you just keep enjoying these precious activities. Love all you Losers,

PS: what a beautiful Dickison group. I don't know how Ben and Carol keep their buttons from popping everywhere. How thankful and proud they must be.

Last night we had the blessed opportunity to visit with Rick and Michele. We haven’t seen our dear friends for a very long time. It was so good to catch up and be able to reminisce about old times and impart lessons learned in this mortal experience. We are very grateful for this sweet encounter. We came away edified and deeply touched. I can describe this event with the following phrase, “Today I stood among tall trees and now I am taller.” That is how we feel. We observed throughout our visit how your family has decided that it isn’t as important to count every minute, as it is to make every minute count. Rick and Michele we love you both. You are such great examples and our lives are richer for knowing you. Being with you filled us with a desire to be better. Elder Bruce Hafen said, “Disciples learn much from knowing and following other disciples.” We have been fed and we have learned as we witnessed a pure Christlike representation in your abundant gratitude, grace, patience, and enduring love. Your family is in our prayers.
