"Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh and anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God." Grandpa & Isaac

Isaac loves spending time with Grandpa! Today they had fun pulling their tractors around the house. Isaac followed Grandpa like a little duckling. Judging from the smile on Grandpa's face, I'm pretty sure he loves spending time with Isaac too. What do you think?

That is the cutest thing ever! I had a smile on my face the whole video! Tender moments!

I think I am so thankful Isaac is close enough to be Grandpas best friend, to be where grandpa can hold him and love him and draw strength from that great soul in that tiny body. I don't remember anything that felt better than Addy spread out across me checking my chest every so often and saying Otay? in her tiny little voice. She checked the drains regularly to make sure they were otay and watched Glenda change the bandages and the wound vac so often that one day when I laid on the couch and Glenda wasn't there she got everthing ready to do it herself.
What a great blessing to be loved and cared for by a child. How blessed we are. Love you

Hi I don't want any of you to be in shock that I am actually dropping a line to you guys. I read the blog all the time just never stop to tell all of you that I love you and that you are always in my prayers. I am so excited about Ben and his upcoming wedding that is so awesome. Rick I so enjoyed by brief visit with you and Cole at Thanksgiving time;I miss having you guys next door you were such awesome neighbors and still some of my favorite people you have made my life a better one just by having you in my life and the lives of my children. I saw a saying the other day it applies so much to my life and everyone else in this world. "It's not what we have in this life that matters but who we have." When I get discouraged about things I have to stop and thank my Heavenly Father for the all of the people I have in my life that have made a difference for the good in me. Thank you for being some of those special people. Love Suzy Dayton PS I am sending this on Sara's blog because I don't have one or a computer for that matter. Love ya

Hi Losers,

Just checking in; got back yesterday from a five day trip to sunny Tampa Florida - it was freezing!!! If you can believe it, frost on the ground every day except the day I left, just my luck, head home, then it gets back to normal, anyway…Great to read all about the happenings and for the positive events in your lives.

Have to admit, not seeing any posts made us worry for the worst. Your treatment sounds like it really sucks (we can’t imagine) but, glad to hear all things considered, it is helping. Do you think I could stand in for you? It wouldn’t hurt me a bit lose a pound or two!

What did we think, we loved the video - yeah Rick you do look good, for a Grandpa that is, and hey the tractor really becomes you...were you a farmer in a previous life? What we really want to know, is what happened after you sat on it???

We think of you often and pray for all of you…
Love Tracy & Jill

Hi Rick, this is Rebecca Reschke, or as you probably know me, Beccki Peterson, Mary Vizina's sister from Placerville. I was told about your illness and this blog by my brother-in-law, Phil Reschke. You and your family are in my prayers.
