"Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh and anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God." It's Already Saturday

Hello family and friends!

After another rough night for dad, we decided to take him to the hosptial this morning at 7am. He wasn't able to keep any food or liquid down and was in a lot of pain. The hospital put in an I.V. line, rehydrated him, and gave him enough anti-nausea and pain meds ("the good stuff") to put a smile on his face (for a little while at least).

Even though Nichole likes to pretend she's a nurse, we decided to get some professional help to keep dad in better shape. We contacted and set up a hospice program for dad to come and administer "the good stuff" today (and for a while), which will keep dad at home and hopefully feeling better. Dad wanted to thank everyone for their support. He's a little out of it from some of the pain meds and probably wouldn't make good company this evening.

When he got home from the hospital, even though he could barely keep his eyes open, he insisted on "attempting" to watch the BYU game. All I have to say is, They Better Win.

Love,
The Losers

I LOVE to see courtship/early married pictures of my friends. Can I just say - this one of you and Michelle has probably made me smile more than any other picture I've seen in a while!!!! Did you ever work as a stunt double for Tom Sellick?

Your family is in our prayers. We love you so much. Just yesterday I ran in Leslie Bingham at the MTC and we both shared a tender moment of memories together. We love you and are praying for you all.

Hey Rick,
So...taking the "good stuff" are we now... It's a good thing, a modern miracle, that we have meds to make us more comfortable when things are just plain ikkie (is that how you spell it) anyway... what a roller coaster you have been on. We do hope that you get some good rest and start to feel better - comfort is KING so be KING!!!

Hope to see you soon, maybe tomorrow if your not puking or too HIGH on the meds - come to think about it... Ya, it would be great fun to see you flying around the room...Can we come over pleaaase!

Seriously, We are fasting with everyone and pray for you and your family. God bless you all!

Love, Tracy & Jill

Brother Loser,

Sunday won't be the same without you! I've never forgotten the testimony you bore in Sacrament Meeting earlier this year. You were speaking to Michelle and told her publicly that she "gladdened your heart" and "pleased your eye". It was unforgettable in it's sincerity and earnestness.

And in Sunday School you stood before us and recited the "Psalm of Nephi" (2 Ne. 4:15-35) accompanied by a hymn. You spoke with such power and conviction it was stirring - and has remained with me.

(And no one can needle Brother Seymour in Sunday School quite like you!)

But more than these, I am indebted to you for your example to my sons -especially Alex. He still has the "leader of the pack" hat you presented to him when he became Deacon's quorum president.

Your home and your posterity reflect the benevolent life you and Michelle lead. I feel it a privilege to know you.

Sincerely,
Jennifer
